SAAS Career Fair 2018

The SAAS Career Fair was successfully held on Friday, March 9, 2018. The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science organised this career fair specifically for BSc(ActuarSc), BSc (Majors in Decision Analytics, Risk Management, and Statistics), and MStat students, with an aim to connect the industry and students in an interactive environment outside offices and classrooms. We had 27 companies/organizations with over a hundred representatives altogether participating in the career fair.

In addition, some of our alumni shared their experience with tremendous insights into the industry in the networking session, allowing our students to have a better understanding of the opportunities they could grasp and be more prepared.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the participating companies and persons, as well as voluntary student helpers, for their time and effort, and dedication to our students. With the enthusiastic response from the participants, we are certain that our students have gained much from the informative and inspiring interactions with the passionate representatives.
