STAT3988 Statistics Internship (2012-13)
The Department is now organising the second information session of STAT3988 as a special one-off arrangement for those who did not attend the first one. Information on internship opportunities and nomination process will also be given in the information session. The following are the details:

Registration Deadline: Thursday, 25 April 2013
May I reiterate that the attendance to this information session is compulsory for students who intend to take STAT3988 in the academic year 2012-2013. If you have the slightest chance of pursuing an internship in 2012-13 (including summer), you should register for the session NOW.
Please note that this will be the last information session to be organised for 2012-13. If you are NOT able to come but intend to take STAT3988, you should send an email to Mr K.L. Ng (ngkl@hku.hk; 2859-2466) and provide proof for your absence BEFORE the information session.
If you do NOT attend/have NOT attended the information session, you will NOT be allowed to take STAT3988 Statistics Internship in 2012-2013, which is a 6-credit bearing course to fulfill the Experiential Learning requirement.
