To enhance students’ exposure to the trend of the industry and up-to-date market information, Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science have connected with a number of companies for the one-year Corporate Mentorship Programme for students to take part in. Through real-world experience sharing and interaction with the professionals, it’s our hope that students could be inspired by mentors’ perspectives and have a mindset of preparing ahead on career and future development.
Purposes of the Programme
Guide, inspire and empower students to see a possible future beyond what they see in themselves
Help students step out of their comfort zone to rise above their impossibilities
Be inspired through enlightenment from the practitioner of workplace attitude and career progression etc
Features of the Programme
Mentors will provide personal guidance and advice to students on career development and professional examinations etc.
It provides students with a chance to meet more practising professionals through mentoring meetings. The relationship established will enlarge the social network of students.
The Programme begins with an on-site visit where students will meet their mentors apart from getting a general understanding of the company’s business operation.
