ISI & ISI Associations Short Courses Offered in Conjunction with the 59th ISI World Statistics Congress  (Chinese version)

Short courses will be arranged by the ISI and its Associations partnering with the University of Hong Kong during 22-25 August 2013. All the Congress delegates are welcome, but the courses may be subject to a cost-based charge. The following are the short courses that have been approved. Courses may be cancelled if there is insufficient enrollment by June 15, 2013. The registration fee will be refunded 100% for any course that is cancelled.

  • First-Round Registration: from now till June 10, 2013 (Payment of the registration fees can be settled on or before June 10, 2013.)

  • Second-Round Registration: June 11, 2013 and thereafter (Payment should be settled immediately upon successful registration.)

  • For registration of 19 August 2013 or thereafter:

      Payment of registration fee should be settled on site at the Registration & Enquiry Desk by cash in Hong Kong dollars.
      Participants from developing countries should also bring their passports with them when making payment on site.

  • Notes: 50% refund is only applicable for first-round registrants. If any first-round registrants wish to withdraw from the programme and request for 50% refund, they should contact the Secretariat of ISI Short Courses ( by June 30, 2013. No refund for any withdrawal after that day.
