HKU-NUS-STANFORD Conference in Statistical Science and Decision Analytics

In Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the HKU Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science

Objectives:

  The HKU-NUS-STANFORD Conference in Statistical Science and Decision Analytics is a research collaboration between the University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore and Stanford University, with an aim to study the latest developments and applications of statistics. The Conference highlights new frontiers including data-driven statistical science and decision analytics, and touches on different related fields including but not limited to quantitative finance, actuarial science, etc. Featuring various distinguished speakers from both academia and industry to foster interaction, the Conference also celebrates the 50th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of the HKU Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, which was founded by Professor Saw Swee Hock, currently the President's Honorary Professor of Statistics, the National University of Singapore.
