At the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD), we are gradually integrating data science and AI into our workflows. This session offers a practical look at how we are leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, streamline routine tasks and enhance our statistical service.

About the speaker

 

Jason has been with the Census and Statistics Department for around four years. As a Team Lead in the Data Science Section, he drives the department's digital transformation by spearheading various data science / AI initiatives. Passionate about tech education, he also serves as an internal Data Science / AI trainer to build technical capacity among his colleagues. Prior to his role in the government, Jason worked as a Manager in the Data & Analytics team at a multinational bank, giving him a unique perspective on data science in both the private and public sectors.
