| Course Objectives | This course provides knowledge on basic risk and its management, as well as basic financial planning through insurance products, to students. It allows students to understand the statistical, financial and legal principles underlying the techniques for managing the insurable risks faced by organisations and individuals. This course aims at students who have minimal background in quantitative methods, as it involves very minimal quantitative calculations. | ||||||||||||||
